A dance club, a circle of friends
Putian University Folk Dance Club was founded in April 2005, with Florence (Zheng Ruoyi) as its instructor. A 2021 study she co-authored records the club’s history and its emphasis on enjoying dance together.
The club explores music, steps and traditions from different regions. Learning together, looking after one another and making an event happen are as valuable as any moment on stage.
